Onetangi beach on Waiheke Island is just below the villa, a ten minute walk down the hillside or 3-minutes by car and you are there. This beach is long, flat, safe and sandy with great and necessary facilities nearby.
The water is warm and great for swimming and also for the surfer, other beaches are nearby to the villa all within a minutes drive, bus services are regular along the coast and beach locations with a couple of stops near to the villa.
Ideal for swimming or surfing 'when the wind's up'. Palm Beach and other secluded beaches are only a few minutes by car. Regular buses serve all the main beach locations, stopping within 100 metres of the villa's grounds.
Take a tour around the vineyards and distillery where the wine is made and tasted, restaurants renowned for their cuisine and facilities for all types of people are also in the region of the villa and the vineyards and olive groves.
Restaurants, cafe bars and snack bars are a popular place for most people to meet and relax on the island. Tours are organised for those interested in seeing more of the island in detail.

The nearest airport is Auckland international roughly a 30 minute drive from the ferry terminal in Auckland. Car hire in Auckland is available from the airport at cheap discounts if you have reserved a car in advance.
The ferry services operate every half an hour, and there is a car ferry service also from the bay which runs every hour. Once on the island it is a 5 – 10 minutes drive to the villa, bus services run regularly every 20 minutes on the island.
